2016 Nissan Frontier
The Draw-Tite feels very sturdy and installed as expected after reading owner reviews It just took a little finessing, a couple of cuss words and a motorcycle Jack for me to install it by myself. At the time of this review, it's just been installed, so I haven't had the opportunity to tow with it. First job will be to transport a motorcycle using a car trailer.

Got the hitch and wiring harness for my 2018 Nissan Frontier a year ago, my sons installed it as a Fathers day gift, it was easy to install and works awesome. Happy i got it, etrailer made it easy to order and the instructional videos were very helpful.

2010 Nissan Frontier
Too simple. A milk crate and a 2x4 held the hitch right up to the frame, which was threaded for the supplied bolts. One person install, easy. The Hopkins 4 pin harness perfectly plugged right into the factory harness. Couldn't have been easier. Draw-tite hitch heavy duty Quality.

Box was destroyed, receiver was bent. When I called etrailer to complain they told me to put it in a vise and use a jack to straighten it out. Great customer service. Luckily I was able to get it straight enough to mount to frame. I'm not sure that the average customer can do that. 20 minute install turned into three hours. Next time I'll spend the extra $40.00 bucks and buy it from the dealer.

I will have our customer service team reach out to you. The hitch manufacturer makes the side brackets out of steel that can flex as it will once installed. This can mean that they can because flexed out of alignment while in transit to our facility or to you. We do have an FAQ that can assist if this happens.

2019 Nissan Frontier
Product arrived quickly. Packaging was good; so not even a scratch on the hitch. The videos on the installation of the hitch and the wiring harness made the job easy. Took about an hour from start to finish. As the video notes, You should definitely take the time to clean the the threaded holes on the vehicle with a spray lubricant and a wire brush; then dry fit the bolts. It'll get out all of the grit and rust particles.

2018 Nissan Frontier
I installed the Draw-Tite class III on my 2014 Nissan Frontier without much problem. Since I did not have a spare set of hands, I used 2 scissors jacks, one at each end of the hitch, to raise the hitch very close to the frame where they would be bolted. I discovered there is some slip play in the hitch bolt holes, so did not tighten any of the bolts until all 6 bolts were threaded part way into the holes. I then tapped the hitch as far back as it would move toward the back bumper and tightened all 6 bolts. It's a good solid fit. I will be using it to help haul an 18 ft kayak and alternately a bike rack. We also have a 26 ft Trailmanor camper.

2013 Nissan Frontier
Product arrived in good condition and all parts were present. I used a floor jack to raise the hitch into position and maneuver it while doing so as I worked alone. The instructions included were minimal but did provide the proper torque for the bolts. The online installation videos were _very_ helpful. I also was helped by a tip from a reviewer in one of the comments to use a clamp to align the bolt holes with the weldnuts because the final hole was just a fraction of an inch off from allowing the bolt to thread in easily. Installing the hitch portion took about 45 minutes for me but I took my time.

Got an etrailer twofer here. Just installed a Draw Tite hitch on my 2013 Nissan Frontier. The install went perfectly and took about 45 minutes working alone. Kudos to etrailer for FAST shipping, good products and videos that give a guy the confidence to do the job. We traded our Equinox that had an etrailer hitch on it so I picked up a hitch for our truck. The Hollywood bike carrier I have had for some time is also pictured here (also from etrailer) and I could not be happier with this arrangement for carrying our recumbents.

Nissan Frontier
Wanted to be able to pull a RV trailer with my '08 Nissan Frontier which did not come with a tow package originally. This kit provided a great solution. Hitch was a perfect mate to the existing bolt holes in the truck frame. Everything needed was in the package. Admittedly, I had the benefit of using a forklift at work to raise the receiver hitch right up to the frame making install much easier by myself. You'd need a strong, second set of hands if you don't have a way to lift up the hitch otherwise. Hitch works great every time I hook on.

Very nicely made product. It needs to be packaged better though - it had been thrashed about during delivery and the box was worn through in places - the hitch was pretty badly scraped in those places. It also did not align with all of the holes on the frame, I destroyed a C Clamp getting those holes aligned well enough to get the bolts started. Not a 30 minute installation at all.

Great hitch. When I received it the box was ripped open, of course but the finish is very strong and showed no signs of damage. The hitch is discrete and was really easy to install. The only change I would make to this hitch is to open the back end of the 2"X2" receiver channel. I have had receivers that I would push further in for storage.

2019 Nissan Frontier
I liked this design over the competition as well as the included tab for the connector brackets. It seems to me that a straight square tube that the competition has, requires less engineering than a curved tube which helps clear the spare tire. This tells me they focus more on attention to detail on their design. However, I would like to say that it is not perfect. It did have some weld splatter which should have been cleaned off before powder coating, and some chipped paint which I had to re-coat with a can of rustoleum primer/paint. If you can get past these two things, I would say it's a great hitch receiver.

The receiver hitch box arrived with holes from UPS. I was concerned about the small parts that were included, I feared they may be gone. I was pleased to see that all the parts were there thanks to the way things had been packed. Everything was in excellent condition in spite of the shipping box damage. The hitch was a perfect fit. Installation was easier than I expected.

2010 Ford Windstar
This is the second hitch and wiring harness I purchased from etrailer. The first one was about 10 years ago for my Windstar, which is still running/towing stong. Shipping was quick and arrived within a few days. Parts were neatly fastened to the hitch. I installed the hitch during my 1/2 hr lunch break at work. It was a simple job with one snag. The rear bracket bolt holes did not line up on the driverside. I had to hammer the bracket, furthest from the welded tub, outward. Once that was done I tightened and torked, job complete. I would like to see etrailer encorporate a wiring receiver into the hitch. This would eliminate the ugly hanging on the receiver wire and add to the professionally installed look. This hitch as a small plate on the driver side with pre drilled holes. Perfect for perminatly securing the wiring harness.

I purchased this bolt on receiver along with the complete plug in wiring harness in hopes it would be easy and simple to install. I wasn't disappointed. I watched the video that showed the wiring installation and the job was done without any problems. Very Happy with my purchase.

Good instructions, well packaged, arrived unharmed. The shape of the plates for the safety chains means that hooking them up takes a bit of fiddly work but it's not a huge deal. The existing nuts on the frame of my truck needed their threads cleaned up, which took some doing and some tools from another vendor. Probably would be a good idea for etrailer to offer such a kit as an optional addon for people with older vehicles that have started to rust up a bit.

Order arrived a day earlier than expected. Got a great price for an excellent product. Shopped around and didn't find it lower no where. Very happy with it and excited to get it on my truck. The only small negative was that there was a 2 inch gash in the paint that was exposing the metal. I quickly paired that spot so that it wouldn't start to rust right away, no big deal, otherwise I would definitely buy again. etrailer has great stuff at unbelievable prices. Not the first I ordered from them.

2008 Nissan Frontier
My 2008 Nissan Frontier. Turns out it didn't have the trailer tow package but I was able to purchase the relay harness from my Nissan dealer. It also included the trailer wiring harness that not only fit the vehicle frame but connected perfectly with the mounting plate on the new hitch. Bought the DrawTite bolt on hitch kit. It had a slight bend on the passenger side which required me to use a small block of wood between the hitch and the rear bumper to prevent it from slipping while I used a light tug on a small crowbar to move the bracket into place directly over the mounting holes. Once I got the four corner bolts in it was a snap after that. I took these photos with the truck up on a pair of ramps while I was installing the tow package relays and the trailer wiring harness a few days after I installed the hitch. Photo 1: A rear view of the mounted hitch. Nice clean lines, doesn't hang too low or stick out too far in back. A perfect fit! Photo 2: Another angle of the hitch. The receiver is in place while the rest of the hitch is barely visible below the chassis. Photo 3: From beneath. The reason I ordered the DrawTite hitch is the drawbar goes completely through the mounting brackets rather than simply welded to the sides. The six mounting bolts are snug up under the frame and the tab on the driver side is perfect for mounting the wiring harness/plug. Photo 4: The wiring harness that came with the tow package relay harness attaches directly to the drawbar perfectly. Rather than using the two 10mm hex head screw/bolts that came with the kit I attached the wiring bracket to the drawbar plate with two 7/16" x ½" coarse thread screws with washers and lock washers that I had on hand in the workshop.
